❤️Sally Tabe, Founder HappyMe Health

Adanze, aka ”Mon Presi,” and I met in our second year of university at Buea. I’ll never forget Adanze’s audacity, bravery, and intelligence, as well as the inspiring way she spoke at our departmental general assemblies. Back then, she was the first female president of our microbiology student association, and I was the public relations officer. She was a huge inspiration for me. She had a long-standing interest in public health and enjoyed leading campus-wide campaigns to raise awareness and screen for HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, and blood grouping. In the years leading up to her graduation, she founded the Integrated Health Organisation (IHO). Years after graduation, I had the opportunity to meet Adanze’s IHO and form a partnership with my organization, HappyMe Health, and the Better Life Foundation. Among many other places, we have carried out outstanding community development, health, and skill-building initiatives in Mapanja, Ekonjo, Tole, and Pendamboko. Mon Presi has been an inspiration to me since we were in school; we have since become mentors and partners, and we are now research buddies who share fascinating articles about NCDs and health trends. This woman supported me through thick and thin, and she was the driving force behind my career choices. Many thanks, Mon Presi.
