Religion plays an important role in shaping public health practices, particularly in the African context, so it is critical to collaborate with religious leaders when carrying out health education. It was an incredible opportunity to educate the members of this church about various health prevention topics such as malaria, typhoid, and noncommunicable diseases. Free blood group and hepatitis B testing were also performed. The results were shared with church members and explained in detail. Most of them expressed enormous gratitude for the kind gesture and thanked their pastor for allowing us to reach out.
